Land-Waste Management Commercial Services
The Commercial Division of Composting NZ specialises in providing advanced equipment and services for large-scale shredding and mulching operations in various commercial settings. This division focuses on handling tasks such as orchard and vineyard mulching, shelter belt maintenance, processing slash, and other green materials up to 300mm in diameter.
One of the primary applications of the commercial division is the clearing of landslides, where our heavy machinery efficiently removes debris and vegetation, helping to restore affected areas. Additionally, this division offers services for clearing building waste and recycling re-crete, contributing to sustainable construction practices by repurposing materials.
Another area of expertise is demolition clearing, where we effectively handle the removal of debris resulting from demolition activities. Whether it's large-scale demolitions or smaller-scale projects, the commercial division provides specialised equipment and expertise to ensure efficient and thorough clearing.

Supporting Hawke's Bay recovery after Cyclone Gabrielle
Our Commercial Division has been focused in the Hawke's Bay region since 2002, providing services to the Hastings District Council Landfill. In response to Cyclone Gabrielle, the Hastings District Council asked for our help — as we are experts at dealing with waste material on a large scale.
We are people with solutions and we have fully embraced the opportunity to support our local region and help our people rebuild. As such we have expanded our existing Hawke's Bay operations to aid in the region's recovery by providing our expertise in the screening and processing of mixed waste material, and by providing an array of jobs for locals directly affected by the flooding.
